Dear Journal,
It rained hard yesterday. Just poured and poured. Started around eight in the morning, continued all day. It almost made me late for work, for the walk took much longer due to the strong wind and rain. When I finally got to the back door of Valier's, it took merely seconds while I was closing my little black umbrella before I was completely soaked. I ran inside to see that MariAnne was there early, pinning up her old fashioned long hair in an elegant up-do. "You're going to catch cold," she scolded me, giving me one of her hep looks.
